HMD Global has announced that it is going to hold an event on April 8 and new Nokia phones like Nokia X10, X20 5G may be launched.
The company has posted an official invite on its website confirming an event for April 8 that will be held at 3PM GMT (8.30PM IST).
While there is no confirmation from the company on which smartphones are expected to be launched, a report by NokiaPowerUser has claimed that the firm is going to launch three handsets at the event as part of two new smartphone series — X-series and G-series.
The report reveals that while the G-series will get one device, Nokia G10, the X-series is expected to get two handsets — Nokia X20 and Nokia X10.
Nokia X20 and X10: What we know so far
The Nokia X20 is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Claimed to be available in Blue and Sand colour options, the device is likely to be available at a starting price of 349 Euros (approximately Rs 30,000).
Not much is known about The Nokia X10, however, is said to be available in 6GB RAM and 32GB storage variant and in White and Green colour models. The expected price of this smartphone is 300 Euros (approximately Rs 26,000).
Nokia G10: What we know so far
Last week, it was suggested that HMD Global is gearing up to launch its first gaming series smartphones, G-series. The Nokia G10 is expected to be the first smartphone.
In terms of specs, the Nokia G10 is expected to be powered by an octa-core chipset, which is unspecified at the moment.
The device is said to house a 6.4-inch screen and come with a quad camera setup, where the primary sensor is a 48MP sensor.
