Registration Begins for Secondary, Senior Secondary Exams, Details at nios.ac.in

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) started the registration for On-Demand Examination 2021 (ODE 2021) for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses on Monday, March 1. The candidates who are willing to appear for the NIOS ODE 2021 need to register themselves at www.nios.ac.in.The NIOS ODE 2021 exams starting from March 15 will be conducted four days a week at the NIOS headquarters, three days a week at regional centres and two days a week at the Kendriya Vidyalaya.

To apply for any of the two exams, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open any internet browser and visit www.nios.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on NIOS ODE 2021 hyperlink

Step 3: You will be directed to a new page wherein you will have to key in your personal details and attach necessary documents

Step 4: Pay the NIOS ODE 2021 exam fees online

Step 5: Hit the submit button

Step 6: Download and take a print of the confirmation page for future reference

Here is a look at the days on which candidates can take exam at these centres:

  • NIOS headquarters: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • NIOS regional centres: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Kendriya Vidyalaya: Wednesday, Thursday

Meanwhile, NIOS has also asked all the Regional Directors to issue anotification on the regional centre website and send a press note to local news portals so that more candidates can know about the exam details.

The students who are appearing for NIOS ODE 2021 at Secondary level can choose from any of these subjects: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Science, Economics, Business Studies, Home Science, Psychology, Indian Culture & Heritage, Painting and Data Entry Operations.

NIOS has also announced the dates for the March-April 2021 public exam for Secondary and Senior Secondary courses. The exams will be held in June, this year. Recently, the National Institute of Open Schooling had conducted the Secondary and Senior Secondary examinations for the January-February 2021 session.
