In a bizarre act, a Sudanese flight had to make an emergency landing at Khartoum International Airport on Wednesday, after an angry cat attacked the pilot in the cockpit.

The Qatar-bound aircraft had to make the emergency half an hour after taking off. The stowaway feline apparently felt trapped inside the cabin and started attacking the pilot.

Despite the efforts of the crew, the feline couldn’t be controlled, forcing the pilot to take an U-turn and make an emergency landing.

The commercial flight was a Sudanese Tarco airline bound for Qatar’s capital, Doha.

All passengers have been reported to land safely. However, it is still not clear how the cat managed to sneak into the aircraft.

According to reports, it is being speculated that the feline could have entered the aircraft the previous night when it was parked at a hangar on the Khartoum airport.
