IAF Recruitment 2021: Mode of selection

1) All application are scrutinized in terms of age limit, minimum qualification, documents and certificates. Thereafter eligible candidates will be issued call letter for written test.

2) The eligible candidates will be required to appear for written test. The written test will be based on minimum educational qualification.

3) The written test will consists of (i) General Intelligence & Reasoning (ii) Numerical Aptitude (iii) General English (iv) General Awareness.

4) The question cum answer paper will be in English and Hindi.

5) The requisite number of candidates will be short listed and called for skill /practical/physical test wherever applicable based on merit/category in the written test.

6) Short listed candidates are to bring original certificates, copies of which were annexed with the application.

IAF Recruitment 2021: How to apply
Eligible candidate can apply to the Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications.

Application duly typed in English/Hindi as per the format given below duly completed with recent passport size photograph duly attested by self pasted thereon are to be submitted by the candidates to the specified address.

Applicants to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE OF……AND CATEGORY………”. The application is to be accompanied with self addressed envelope with Rs. 10 age stamp duly affixed.

Last date of receipt of application is 30 days from the date of advertisement in Employment News.

All documents in support of Education Qualification, Age, Domicile certificate, experience and caste certificate etc duly self attested are to annexed with the application.

In case of OBC candidates applying for reserved quota, their caste should be listed under the Central List of OBCs.

The number of vacancies advertised under one of the Civil Services Exam (CSE) continues to remain under 1,000 for the fifth consecutive year. In the UPSC CSE notification 2021 released on Thursday, the number of vacancies is approximately 712 including those reserved for differently-abled persons. This is a drop from last year when 796 posts were advertised by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) under CSE.

Despite being one of the most awaited exams for government job aspirants, the number of vacancies continues to drop. The last time UPSC CSE had advertised for over 1,000 jobs was in 2016.

UPSC CSE 2021 Notification out for 712 Vacancies, Here’s How to Apply

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2021 at its official website, upsc.gov.in. The notification was scheduled to be released in February, however, it was delayed and is released on March 4. The application process has begun and candidates and will conclude on March 24 at 6 pm. Interested candidates need to apply within the given deadline at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 712 which include 22 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category, as per the notification. To be eligible for the job candidates need to clear a preliminary exam followed by mains and then an interview or personality test round.

The online applications can be withdrawn from March 31 to April 6 till 6 PM after which the link will be disabled. The preliminary exam will be held on June 27.

UPSC CSE 2021: Eligibility

Age: Applicant should be at least 21 years old to be eligible to apply. The upper age is capped at 32 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved category will get relaxation as per the govt norms.

Education: Applicants must hold an undergraduate level degree from a recognised university or institution.

Number of attempts: Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible will be permitted six attempts at the CSE. However, relaxation in the number of attempts will be available to the SC/ST/OBC and PwBD category candidates.

UPSC CSE 2021: Application fee

Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100. Females and candidates belonging to SC, ST category, and persons with disabilities are exempted from paying the fee.

The Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has released the admit card for the recruitment exam of trained graduate teacher (TGT) and Postgraduate Teacher (PGT). Those candidates who have registered themselves for the TRBT STGT and STPGT 2020 can now download the admit card from the official website – www.trb.tripura.gov.in.

Both TRBT Recruitment 2020 exams will be conducted in a single shift from 12 PM to 2:30 PM on April 4 for STGT and April 11 for STPGT. The facility to download the TRBT TGT, PGT Recruitment 2020 admit card will be available till March 9.

The shortlisted candidates will be appointed as circle officer. They will get a remuneration between the range of Rs 23,700 to Rs 42,020. GATE 2021: Of the 1,21,664 candidates registered for the the first shift of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021, about 77.1 per cent had appeared for the exam, as per the IIT-Bombay – GATE 2021 organising institute. Those who clear GATE are eligible for admission to MTech at IITs, IISc as well as jobs at PSUs.

The exam is to be conducted in two sessions today. In this first session, the number of multiple select questions – a new introduction in GATE – was increased. While last week the number of such questions remained five or less. In today’s exam, there were about 12 MSTs, as per students.

Kajal Vats, associate, community-GATE, Gradeup the exam had about 15 per cent theoretical questions and almost half of the exam had direct and concept-based numericals. However, she has ranked the math and general aptitude section of the exam to be easy. The exam had 14-15 numerical answer type questions. The highest weightage was given to the algorithm and discrete mathematics section, she informed.

Vats expect the qualifying cut-off to be about 28. She said, with a lesser number of PSU jobs expected this year, students need to have a look at the options beyond the regular course of action after cracking GATE.

Murali Karthikeyan from TIME has ranked the exam to be of moderate to hard level of difficulty. He, however, said that the qualifying cut-off is unlikely to be impacted and should remain at par with last year as then too the exam was comparatively tough.

This year, 8,82,684 candidates have applied for the GATE 2021 for 27 papers.  A total of 2,88,379 female students have registered this year. This is an increase of about 10,000 from last year.
