Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian cricket team’s frontline bowler, got hitched to sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan amid weeks of speculation and online rumours floating about. On Monday, Bumrah took everyone by surprise after the 27-year-old shared photos from his special day along with his partner Ganesan over his social media accounts where he penned a heartfelt note. “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course, the pacer wrote before adding, “Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you.”

It was only a matter of seconds that the star bowler’s social media posts from the wedding ceremony went viral across India as happy and congratulatory messages poured in from all quarters.

However, curious desi folks wanted to know more about Bumrah’s roots so they headed over to google in search of their answers.
