Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released Punjab Civil Services Exam 2020 Prelims Revised Result on the official website of the Commission. Candidates who have appeared for the PPSC Civil Services prelims can visit the official website of the Commission – ppsc.gov.in – to check the revised list of provisionally shortlisted candidates for Mains 2020.

The Commission has clarified that following male candidates are not eligible in Persons with Disability candidates

(Blind and Low vision) Category because the said post is reserved for women:

Therefore the above mentioned 10 registration numbers have been considered in their basic category and their scored marks being less than the Cut off marks in their respective basic category there candidature has been rejected.

It is further informed that due to ineligibility of the above candidates, the following additional female candidates are shortlisted for Mains examination in the category of Persons with Disability candidates (Blind and Low vision) (Category Code 76-A). The Cut off for the said Category stand revised as 98.5

It is further informed that as per the requests received by the commission some of the female candidates had inadvertently filled wrong gender (Male) in their Preliminary application forms. So, these candidates were not shortlisted in their respective categories for the posts reserved for Women.
