IRIS Software Group (IRIS), a leading global software provider of accountancy solutions, announced that it has acquired Every, a leading compliance and HR management solution provider for the education sector.

The acquisition of Every is the latest step in IRIS’ mission to rapidly expand IRIS Education software offering at a time when many schools and MATs need seamless, integrated solutions and follows the acquisitions of Dataplan and PayPlus, two payroll services providers each with a strong education sector focus.

The deal offers Every the opportunity to build on its success to date and deliver greater value to its customers by becoming part of an organisation that currently works with 12,000 UK schools and trusts.

Founded in 2010 by Ian Bond and Adam Watson, Every is a leading provider of compliance and HR management software to schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) in the UK. Schools trust Every’s compliance modules to provide an end-to-end system for ensuring adherence to statutory compliance requirements relating to policies, facilities and equipment, enabling them to reduce risk across the entire school estate. In response to educators’ requests, the platform developed an integrated HR solution which launched to market early this year.

Speaking about the acquisition, Founder of Every, Ian Bond, said, “It’s now more important than ever to make sure education professionals have the tools to make their jobs more manageable, empower them with better decision making, and identify more efficient ways of working. Joining the IRIS family allows us to build on what we’ve achieved to date and add greater value to our customers. We are excited about the future with IRIS and reinforcing our commitment to service excellence for our customers.”

The company believes in celebrating collaboration and the sharing of best practices. The platform regularly hosts training days and events, to give students the opportunity to network with fellow professionals and share how they use them.

Simon Freeman, MD of IRIS Education has also commented on the latest move, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Every to the IRIS family. This is another step towards creating the most comprehensive end-to-end software offering for schools and trusts – one that takes the pain out of the important day to day activities and ensures they can focus on what matters most, teaching. We’re very excited about continuing to support Every’s growth and market-leading people and products to benefit both existing and new customers.”

IRIS provides finance, productivity, engagement, HR, and Payroll software solutions and services for accountancy firms, businesses and educational organizations, helping them comply with regulations, be more productive and better engage with key stakeholders. Through simplifying automating and providing insights on everyday mission-critical tasks for organisations of all shapes and sizes, IRIS ensures customers can look forward with certainty and confidence.
