​Maharashtra Board Exam 2021: Classes 10, 12 Date Sheet Released, Exams to Begin From April 2021

The date sheet or time table for class 10 and class 12 board examinations has been released by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on its official website www.mahahsscboard.in. However, this is just the tentative time table and the final one would be announced if they receive any objections against it. According to the schedule released, the Maharashtra SSC, HSC exams 2021 will commence on April 29and April 23,respectively. From April 23 to May 21, 2021, the Maharashtra HSC exams 2021 are scheduled, while SSC exams will be held from April 29 to May 20.

The Maharashtra Class 10 and Class 12 Board 2021examination will be held offline in various cities of the state including Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Latur, Konkan and Amravati.

How to check the schedule for Maharashtra Class 10 and Class 12 Board 2021examination:

Candidates who have to appear for the examination can follow the below-mentioned process to check the time table.

Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of MSBSHSE at www.mahahsscboard.in

Step 2: On the homepage, you will find a separate link to check the class 10 and 12 examination schedule, click on it

Step 3: The exam schedule will be displayed on the screen in PDF format

Step 4: Candidates can download the schedule and take its printout for future references

Maharashtra SSC 2021 Exam Date Sheet

The board exams for SSC will commence on April 29, 2021and end on May 20, 2021. The exam will be held in two shifts — morning (10:30 am to 1:30 pm) and afternoon (3 pm to 6 pm).

Maharashtra HSC 2021 Exam Date Sheet

HSC board exam 2021 will start from April 23, 2021and will end on May 21, 2021.

Maharashtra SSC and HSC Practical Exam 2021

The practical exams for both classes will be held between April and May, 2021. For HSC, the practical exam will commence from April 1 and will end on April 22, 2021, while for SSC, it will be from April 9 to April 28, 2021.

The date of the results of the Maharashtra Board Exam 2021 has not yet been released, but it is likely to be announced around July for HSC and in August for SSC.

Odisha plus two exam to start from May 18

Odisha government Wednesday announced May 18 as the date for the plus two examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education. School and Mass Education Minister S R Dash said the examinations for Arts, Science and Commerce streams will begin from May 18 and continue till June 12. The examination for vocational course is scheduled from May 28, he said.

Around 3.50 lakh students will write the plus two examination this year, Dash said. CHSE begins the examination with English paper every year but has opted for physics this time keeping in mind the students’ preparation for the national level competitive examinations, he added.

HPBoSE practical exams to begin from March 24

The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBoSE) will conduct the board exams from March 24. While the theory part of the exams will be held in May, the class 12 practicals will be held from March 24 to April 8. The practical exams of class 10 will be held from March 26 to April 8.

The exam schedule is deferred as compared to other years due to the pandemic. The HPBose has also reduced the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 by 30 per cent. The board had set-up a committee which held a workshop with subject experts, who suggested which topics to be eliminated from Hindi, political science, history, geography, and psychology subjects, it had informed.

A total of 86,663 students had appeared for HPBoSE class 12 exams in 2020, out of which 76.07 per cent successfully cleared it. Prakash Kumar, who fetched 99.40 per cent, emerged as the leading scorer in the science stream. Meanwhile, Shruti Kashyap with 98.20 per cent scored the highest marks in Arts and Meghna Gupta stood as the topper from the commerce stream with 97.6 per cent.

Of over 1.04 lakh students who appeared for class 10 board exam, 70,571 students – 68.11 per cent – managed to clear the exam. Kangra girl Tanu Kumari has topped the exam in 2020 with 98.71 per cent marks, followed closely by Kshitiz Sharma from Hamirpur with 98.56 per cent.

To pass the exam candidates will have to score 33 per cent marks in each subject and an overall score of 33 per cent.

TNDGE HSE +2 exams from May 3, check date sheet

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) will hold the Tamil Nadu state board exams higher secondary second-year exam (HSE) or class 12 exams from May 3 onwards. Last year, the tests were held in March. This year, all boards have postponed their exams due to the pandemic. Every year, about nine lakh candidates appear for the TN HSE or +2 board exams.

The exams will be held from 10 am to 1:15 pm. Question papers will be distributed at 10 am and candidates will get 10 minutes to read the paper. Thereafter, five minutes will be given to verify particulars by the candidates. The students will be allowed to start writing the exam from 10:15 am to 1:15 am, as per the official notice.

Candidates need to secure 35 marks in each subject to pass the paper. For subjects having theory portion of 70 marks, candidates need to secure 15 marks in theory and a total of 35 marks while there is no minimum marks requirement in the practical or internal section.

Over 16.8 lakh to appear for Bihar Board Class 10 exam

Bihar Board 10th exams 2021: A total of 16.8 lakh candidates have registered to appear for class 10 exam. As per Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), the boys enrollment this year is 8,46,663 while 8,37,803 girl students have registered.

The matric exam will be continued till February 24, and a total of 1,525 exam centres are arranged across 38 districts in the state. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam centre wearing shoes and socks, and they need to enter their respective exam hall 10 minutes before the commencement of paper, the BSEB in its guidelines mentioned.

The board will take every precautions to ensure cheating-free exams. Every exam centre will have CCTV cameras, one videographer will be appointed, section 144 within a 100-metre radius of the exam centre, among several other measures.

The students also have to follow the mandatory Covid-19 guidelines and social distancing norms. It is mandatory for candidates to bring masks and sanitisers to the exam hall.

Meanwhile, the intermediate exams for 13.5 lakh students was concluded on February 13, and the result is likely to be announced next month. “The evaluation process will take some time, but can be faster than last year as the pandemic phase is almost over. There was a little trouble last year due to lockdown restrictions, but the board announced the class 12 result in record 40 days (March 24),” a BSEB official mentioned.
